Any smart entrepreneur knows that he or she cannot thrive without knowledge. Smart entrepreneurs realize that knowledge empowers them to be victorious in all that they do. It is the armory for all those who desire greatness in any endeavor.
Success requires knowledge. Personal development—working on you—is the most vital element to success. Sharpening your skills and broadening your know-how are the factors that predetermine your success. The more you know, the more you can adapt. The better you are, the bigger the advantage. It is that simple.
If you have the desire to excel in any area of your life, it pays to be good at it. That means you must study whatever it is you are doing to absolutely ensure there is only one option: victory.
Why is personal development so important in network marketing? Why focus on it so much?
GREATNESS.
Network marketing has never been about being “average.” Sure, we have average people that make average incomes in this profession, but it isn’t about being average at all. This is a field where you can truly be all that you can be. There are no limits. There are no boundaries. You are free to do whatever it is you can. Being the best requires more than what the average are willing to do.
Studying, mentoring, learning, growing, constantly developing and sharpening—those are the habits of successful people, the ones that accept nothing but the best.
You’re in a business that provides you unlimited potential, with nothing stopping you. In order to guarantee that you maximize your potential, you do things that solidify and perfect all that you do.
Your goal is to be effective. Effective people are firing on all cylinders nearly all of the time. They are producers. They get it done.
Doers study, and doers do.
Look at what you do in this business. You prospect. You market. You sell and you recruit. You train and you communicate. There’s more to what you do, but it makes sense to study in those areas, does it not?
If I wanted to be really good at prospecting, I would study the best prospectors. I would watch them and I would listen to them. I would read books and study the subject of prospecting. I would devour the material until I owned it. If I wanted to market and be good at marketing, I would study that as well.
I’m sure you get my point by now, so allow me to point you in the right direction. Spend some time in your bookstore. Spend some time with you. Have a book to read and a journal to write in always within your grasp. Watch what other successful people are doing and copy it. Duplicate it. Study it. Mimic it. Do everything you can to do it like they do if it is highly effective for them and done with integrity.
Greatness comes to those who seek it. Success comes to those who go after it. If you want success, you’re going to pay for it. It doesn’t come free. It takes time, hard work, and discipline. But in the end, when you get there, you will realize that the small price you paid will be worth it a thousand times over in the end. ♦

Success is not as a result of will to win everyone has that, but success comes as a result of willingness to prepare to win. I have the willingness to work at home please put me through.
The different between the rich and poor is not lack of strength but lack of will, because where there is will there is a way if the is properly executed.
